      Unitrin Direct was a great place to work and I learned a lot there.

      Pros

      It was a great work environment and the teamwork was excellent perhaps because they didn't outsource and kept the jobs in-house.

      Cons

      The only downside for me was the commute as the office is located around a Mall with lots of major roads, which is good, but it was always too congested.

      Initial pay was good although I understand its dropped significantly

      Cons

      Unless you know someone higher up plan to stay in the position you get hired in. Don't miss a day of work unless you want a target painted on your back to shove you out the door. The reason behind the absence does not matter.
