The company has a strong sense of community, with collaborative and well-educated employees; it offers a positive environment, good benefits, and valuable global exposure (all that is a legacy of the J&J culture). It's a great place for short- to mid-term growth, though less suited for long-term career development. If it were J&J, I would recommend staying as long as possible; with Kenvue, however, it's better to be more strategic and consider leaving sooner.
Cons
With the transition to Kenvue, the company is encountering a number of challenges. While work-life balance is often discussed, its implementation is inconsistent, and the situation has been further impacted by the ongoing layoffs. Rigid processes slows speed to market and limited creativity. Leadership appointments most of the time prioritize internal dynamics over relevant expertise, which has affected the company’s ability to keep pace with market changes. In many cases, a lack of leadership experience has led to a reliance on checklists, as decision-making confidence based on knowledge and relevant experience is limited.
