Pros

caring supervisors and managers for the most part. great facility to work in. good patient population usually. safe area to work in. flexible hours and i can usually rearrange my schedule as needed if i know in advance. best part of working for a bigger corporation rather than a small private practice is that I dont have to handle any of the insurance or billing, we have clerical staff that deals with that headache.

Cons

- pay is inflexible, set structure for amount you can start at depending on your degree. however you can increase it some with Clinical activities and such. - as an outpatient therapist i have to rotate to cover weekend hospital shifts every month of so. (some people dont mind this)

Pros

Great focus on patient care and work life balance

Cons

Nepotism runs rampant throughout the whole organization. Also if you are not Seventh Day Adventist you will hit a glass ceiling. For a health care provider the benefits are not that great.
