      Good company, decent benefits, poor PTO policy

      Pros

      I get to help people daily. I like my co-workers and the work that I do. They've been great during the pandemic and flexible. Fun events and recognition/appreciation too. For the most part they listen to the feedback from the survey they have us fill out annually. Some good improvements come from that.

      Cons

      PTO policy is terrible. They have not listened to the feedback on the survey about this. We should not have to use my PTO for "paid holidays" no matter how many "extra hours" they say they are giving you. The first two years you feel like you're working for PTO to use for your paid holidays.

      Pros

      Great People to meet in the regular work place. Helping patients and families is incredibly rewarding. Good benefits.

      Cons

      Upper management (Director +) simply refuses to care for anyone who isn't Nursing or a Doctor at the hospital. The pay is only barely kept competitive and even then you are asked to go above and beyond your Job Title and description. Different departments fight it out as if they are trying to discredit/ruin each other They will ask you to work from home, on vacation, and even during times of grief (funeral).

      Nice environment. Management very willing to help.

      Cons

      Everyone on different pay scale. Benefits and contracts are all over the place. Think before signing. HR is difficult.
