Pros

Very supportive atmosphere and managers, great training leaves you very prepared to go on the floor. They coach and know you don't get everything perfect all at once, and work with you on whatever you need improvement with diligently. As long as you do what they say, make an honest effort and are pleasant to customers, you can't go wrong. You get bonus payments each month as long as you book at least 20 sales a month, which is very easy to do after the first month. Casual and fun environment, people still respect each other. You get a cube, your own workstation next to others. They have food a lot and contests. They pay 13.10 an hour plus a 10% shift differential if you work at night or on weekends, so that make it almost 14.00 an hour. Benefits for part time, medical, dental, great vision plan. Also 401K you can participate in, they match a certain amount after a year. You get 60 hours of pto a year if your part time.

Cons

The outbound telesales hours are mostly at night 5-9 pr 6-10 mon-thur or tue-friday, plus sat 9am-1pm. the the short shifts are nice since sometimes people can treat you horribly when you call them, other times though customers are great and you can have some great conversations with really nice people. but the night hours are not for everyone, great for those who can do that every week, week after week. you will be on a dialer which means you have to be prepared to be on the phone non-stop, though you can go to the bathroom and stuff like that, that's all fine, you just have to be timely. The training is great, this is a job that is great for people that try, not for those that enjoy too much slack time, because they do monitor you with coaching and notice if you aren't trying or doing certain things.

Pros

With a few exceptions, they have excellent technical and product support. Good product offering with very few holes enable Key Bank to compete with pier banks.

Cons

There are allot of very bright, hard working people working for Key Bank. Unfortunately, they work for ineffective middle management that tend to release or chase off employees if they are not hitting unrealistic goals.
