Solid company, but still a bank

Pros

Decent culture during my tenure there, was able to move around from job to job and different lines of business as I wanted to. Benefits were always pretty good for a bank.

Cons

Still a bank culture, usuall filled with folks who were just kind of "there". Not a lot of young folks, not a ton of energy, at least for me. Last manager would lose temper frequently; tended to use the stick instead of the carrot when it comes to managing people, which I didn't respond to well.

A nice bank to work for!

Pros

Great culture and "can do" attitude from leadership. There is a lot of room for bonus and it is nice to work where you are not micro managed.

Cons

Training is very limited and systems are archaic! You have to be willing to try and fail and ask your peers for help.

Always treated me fairly

Pros

Good benefits starting with 20 days PTO, 100% match on 401k, and tuition reimbursement. Flexibility and not micro managed.

Cons

Change management seems to be quite a hiccup with reacting to problems instead of having preventative change management
