Pros

Competitive salary for just graduated. Good products and training which makes job easier when going against competitors. Not even a single day with late pay date.

Cons

Change rules very often and apply to every generation. Its like being in high school the entire time, no parties, just the discipline of a teenage is demanded. If it is not written dont expect a promise to be fullfilled. They wont fire you but they will certainly drop your motivation if they are not interested in squeezing whats left of energy after 3-4 years. Its better economically for them to get a new unexperienced worker and pay him less than keeping an experienced worker. They believe in their system not in workers.

Prepare to be judged

Pros

Loved the hours and flexibility, people seem nice enough, and good starting pay

Cons

Managers are super conceited and judgmental! Even if you are overly qualified for the position, prepare to be judged from day one. You'll need a boat, a plane, to be a hockey fan, and eat $18 salads from Porters for lunch to fit in here. People here get stuff done but will judge everything you do and will tell help you very little if you are struggling and will fire you for no reason even though they tell you they won't. Oh and enjoy cold calling "existing accounts" for the rest of your career.

Sr. Sales Engineer

Pros

Excellent technical learning opportunities. Great first "real job" for someone right out of college. Starting salary is strong for a young person. You will learn skills that will help you succeed for the rest of your career.

Cons

Keyence will consume your entire life. 60 hours a week is the minimum. You'll average 40k-50k miles per year on your car (don't worry they pay for your car). If you get in @ 7:30AM you're late. If you leave at 5:00 people will give you dirty looks. Every day. You'll post HUGE growth numbers that would blow any other company away and make your their rock star, and then get crap over not going to enough "new customers" or "target customers." This place will give micromanagement a new name.
