Prepare to be judged

Business Outlook

Pros

Loved the hours and flexibility, people seem nice enough, and good starting pay

Cons

Managers are super conceited and judgmental! Even if you are overly qualified for the position, prepare to be judged from day one. You'll need a boat, a plane, to be a hockey fan, and eat $18 salads from Porters for lunch to fit in here. People here get stuff done but will judge everything you do and will tell help you very little if you are struggling and will fire you for no reason even though they tell you they won't. Oh and enjoy cold calling "existing accounts" for the rest of your career.

Great opportunity!

Pros

Great people who are competent and great to work with. Awesome growth and development. People here care a lot. Great products all around. Leaders of the company lead by example.

Cons

May not be for some. Really demanding and hard working environment. Work life balance could be difficult at times because of travel and demanding goals. Management leads by example and works really hard and is aware though.

Pros

Keyence is company like none other, I mean it. From day 1 at training, to going into the field, they prepare you to be the best of the best. The job is demanding, and requires a lot of work, but it is worth it. If you put in the work, you get heavily rewarded. You are working with the best products in the world, consulting for some of the leaders in technology. It is fun, and rewarding. I highly recommend it.

Cons

You will work hard, but is that really a con or an opportunity? It is wear and tear on your car, and a lot of information, but you are heavily compensated, so it works out. This is for Alpha personalities. If you're a beta, you probably won't like it. Keyence asks for the best because they are the best. So think carefully.
