Pros

The best place I’ve ever worked! It’s fast-paced, diverse and the culture is amazing. Everyone is smart, talented, committed, and we get to do work that helps our students. Management team are approachable and supportive. Great perks (free breakfast, extra annual leave + more) and I’m excited by the opportunities for career growth in what is a clearly fast growing company!

Cons

Keypath is still evolving from a start up. Some people love structure and process and others appreciate the startup feel - Keypath needs to keep the right balance between the two.

Pros

There are so few these days, sadly. There used to be so many. The people are always the biggest selling point, but they rarely keep a good employee after the last few years.

Cons

If you do your own research, it won't be a surprise to find that this company has been on a steep downhill path for the last three years. If you weathered even part of the storm, you saw the loss of every benefit, the numerous layoffs that included some of the longest tenured and talented people at Keypath, and the overall disregard for their employees. There are plenty of better places to work in the market - I promise.

Sorry that you feel that way and yes, we have had business challenges and some layoffs have resulted from that. Even having said that, to say that we have removed all benefits or that there is a general disregard for employees is just not accurate and I feel compelled to set the record straight. Our benefits still include multiple market competitive health insurance options, full employer paid dental, a very popular STD/parental leave program, charity PTO days, the ability to earn up to four extra days off per year for healthy eating and exercise habits, every other Friday as a half day from Memorial Day to Labor Day, up to 5% employer match on the 401(k) with NO VESTING SCHEDULE. We give a week off for all employees around Christmas and New Year’s, games around the office for breaks including a pool table, ping pong table, Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, along with an extensive list of activities and events. I believe most people would call that a pretty robust benefits package. So, on behalf of the 250 employees here in Lenexa, including 40+ employees with over 7 year of tenure, there is still a lot of optimism here and belief in our future opportunity.

Avoid Melbourne Office at all costs!

Pros

Some good colleagues, and most people want to work cooperatively

Cons

Current management in Australia has made some very poor, shortsighted decisions, based on the directives to save money. Making a whole lot of staff leave. Staff morale is quite low and there's been a huge decline in staff morale. The senior management in Australia don't seem to know what they are doing and can't cope with hyper growth. This is alienating and dispiriting to everyone who have worked there for over a year. There is a high staff turnover and a huge amount of back-and-forth when the work is not done properly. It ends up taking more time, because nothing is ever done right the first (or second) time. Education standards have dropped massively and is more like a call centre sales type roles.

We appreciate your feedback and very sorry your experience was not a positive one. As you can imagine I do get very positive emails (with a few negative) about the office and culture. I have said many times hyper growth can be difficult and certainly we are not perfect by any means. But I am committed to improving the culture and support Keypath employees. Thanks Steve
