Pros

Great job to have to get some experience after college. Very relaxed atmosphere.

Cons

Claims to be all about "culture" but since the reorg and new CEO, it's been so NOT.

Very sorry your experience at PlattForm was not a great fit. We have made changes over the past year to future proof this company. As you are aware, the industry is in much transition and we need to insure we evolve with it. In terms of PlattForm culture, I believe we have a good one. Is it for everyone? No. Can it continue to improve? Yes! The one thing I do know is how hard leadership and many employees are working to keep us moving forward and making sure we have a great company for the next 25 years. I am so thankful for all this effort! I wish you all the best in your new endeavor. You should check our new website on the progress! www.plattform.com Steve

Pros

Department Leadership - there are departments/account teams with extraordinary leadership. Co workers - the people here make the experience. Good at the core - the employees and direct managers/directors care. They care about each other, they care about the work they do, they care about the people who keep this organization going. It's not just lip service, like it tends to be at a higher level.

Cons

Unfortunately, there are many decisions that impact employees that our directors/vps (the people who actually know us) have no input or insight into, let alone control over. Changes that effect employees are largely negative - in the last year and a half, not one change that's happened has given employees anything. Every change has been taking something away, or making something worse. Granted, PlattForm is now offering benefits very similar to other companies - but vastly different than what people who've put years into this place have known. Negative after negative after negative makes it tough to see the bright side. No room to improve compensation - compensation is set. No matter how hard you work, you really only have an annual review to look forward to, and it's significantly worse than they used to be. No performance based compensation, no bonuses. You can get almost a perfect score on your performance review, and your raise is the same as the guy next to you. Sugar coating - cannot STAND trying to spin a negative change into something positive when it clearly isn't. We are all intelligent adults. The opportunity to enroll for pet insurance (when it wasn't actually even offered) is not a win for our crappy healthcare. It was mentioned as a benefit every time healthcare changes were discussed. No communication - expect to have life altering changes rolled out a week before they happen.

Your comments are heard! While I disagree with some of your comments I am sure we can always improve. Would really like the opportunity to sit down face to face to talk specifically about your advice and things we can do together to improve our company. You obviously care for PlattForm and we all want to continue to improve. But in the event we cannot connect, let me address a few of your concerns. 1. Agree that many employees really care for the company, the partners we serve, and ultimately the students that get an education. Appreciate that is recognized. 2. While we have had to change some benefits to align to market and to adapt to today's environment., we have tried not changed many of the benefits that employees have said are important . We will continue to evaluate future benefits and look for ways to enhance. But.....agree pet insurance is not key to our changes ;) 3. Communication. Communication among the 500 employees, 6 locations and 4 countries is not always easy. It is not an excuse, and we, like many companies, can always do better here. Again, open to your suggestions. 4. Culture. I would disagree that we don't have a great culture. Is it perfect, no, but compared to many companies that I have been at, and ones I visit, we do many things right here. Certainly, the education industry (and our company) is going through a lot of transition which causes noise. But, I see many great things here to continue to expand on. I do appreciate the honesty, and these comments keep me driving to improve. I hope to connect soon. steve.fireng@plattform.com

Pros

The great culture and enviroment. They have a work hard play hard mentality. My co-workers; really made alot of great friends and made going to work every day fun.

Cons

The benefits were great and was a tremendous perk since the salary was below standards. Benefits changed up this year making it not as attractive. The fun culture and environment can only go so far. There is alot of turnover with this company.
