Pros

- You don't just feel important or that your work matters, you ARE important and your work mattes. I've worked at many companies before that talked a lot about team but didn't deliver. I truly enjoy Keypath for valuing me legitimately. - Fun industry. Higher education has a lot going on. Lots of changes and interesting things taking place. Gives you the chance to be more involved and grow with the industry. - Office atmosphere. Casual dress, open space for interacting. Never have a seen someone be told anything close to "get back to work" and you're empowered to manage your own time.

Cons

- Can get a little loud sometimes since we're mostly in cubes, but the environment isn't different than any other business. We just have a lot of us and lots of activity. - Hard pressed to think of others. All depends on your situation. But hours can be flexible. It's located in downtown Palatine for better or for worse. And we keep growing so the office is getting full.

Pros

The people working the day to day tasks at PlattForm are amazing. Talented, friendly, funny, and caring people. These great people go out of their way to make client requests feasible every day, and it is inspiring.

Cons

Health insurance package is shameful. The medium plan costs $90 a month out of your pay and you have to pay 100% of medical visits and prescriptions up to $1,500. Prescriptions that were $20 on the previous plan are $120 now. I recommend not working here unless you are in perfect health, or covered by other insurance. When that $1,500 out of pocket is more than your bi-weekly paycheck- that is very difficult to manage. Comparable agency jobs insurance is significantly better- though PlattForm will tell you theirs is standard for the market. It might be comparable to an average call center healthcare package, but they are way below the other agencies in the area.

I appreciate your thoughts on our new benefits program. While everyone has different opinions about the program, one thing to keep in mind is the changing environment of the healthcare industry. From what we have heard from insurance providers, this is the trend of healthcare and if companies aren't already using this type of program, they could be soon. The good thing about the healthcare program PlattForm offers is that it does have three options. I realize each employee has unique requirements and hopefully, PlattFormers can find one that best fits their current needs. We are continuing to balance cost to employees and increasing healthcare cost. There will be additional communications coming out to PlattFormers about our benefit program to answer follow-up questions. As always, I encourage you to talk with HR about your concerns. In regard to your comments about locations, yes, do live in Chicago. But, let’s remember our company t is global today across 5 states, and 3 continents. I certainly am learning more and more about all of our areas, but if I offended you in any way about my lack of knowledge about KC, I apologize. I hear you concerning investment towards people and technology. We did invest millions of dollars in technology in 2014-15 (and more coming this year) and excited about our new leader in HR coming on board this past week. Finally, it sounds like you care for PlattForm and hope we can meet sometime face to face to talk directly. I, like you, care for this company and we are all working very hard to continue our company’s transformation. Not easy, but we have made good progress (see recent wins across the Globe!!). I wish you all the best, Steve

Pros

Great people. I formed some great relationships and truly miss a lot of people there. A lot of the managers used to care about their employees, but upper management was making it increasingly hard to do that when I left.

Cons

Ridiculously bad work-life balance, sub-par salary, extreme lack of respect from director in dev services. I essentially got a 30% raise to take a demotion at another company, I'm working far less hours, and I'm well-respected. It wasn't uncommon for me to work 60+ hours a week and still get yelled at by the director, who was adamant that our team was actually overstaffed and we were just being lazy. New ideas were highly discouraged and eventually outright barred. Salaries have not improved, despite what some of these reviews are saying--I've talked to the people still there, and I don't know anyone who's happy. Due to the low pay and extreme turnover, many of the newer employees couldn't do the work that was needed, so the work always fell on their top performers, who were overworked, unsupported, and severely underappreciated. New management is trying hard to turn things around, but they're doing that by removing benefits and pushing people harder--things that were already a problem. Avoid dev services like the plague.

Appreciate your feedback and we always take criticism as ways to improve. I also am very sorry that your experience here was not to your satisfaction. Let me address a few of your concerns: We understand that pay will always be a sensitive topic. While I don't know your specific situation, we are continuing to evaluate pay scale, benefits, and work life balance. We have made improvements in many areas, but in your situation it sounds like it was not addressed to your satisfaction. For that I am sorry.. Regarding work life balance. We have and are continuing to make investments in tools and technology that we believe will lesson some of the manual tasks that employees do everyday. This should allow everyone to focus more on strategic opportunities with our partners and less on manual processes. I will say that I am very proud of our management team, and hear from many employees about the progress and energy we have today. We will strive to get better everyday! I wish you all the best in your new endeavor. Steve
