When times get tough, our placement department makes all efforts to ensure that those of us on the frontlines feel heard, and feel connected to the problem solving process. I appreciate the transparency of our leaders related to industry layoffs and future projections for the company. I am proud to work along side such amazing people from all backgrounds who encourage a growth mindset. I am grateful to work for such a diverse company that offers remote positions across the globe where all walks of life are able connect daily. Company PTO and leave policies are competitive. Mental health days are built in and encouraged, which lends to great work/life balance. Similarly, flex days are a huge plus so employees do not have to use up PTO. The company DE&I initiatives are some of the best I have seen from any company.

Cons

Our placement department has grown awfully quick in the last 8 months. I commend the resiliency of all of us who have weathered the storm of the org change (that wasn't easy) and who have been committed to contributing to the success of the department and the new structure. I am least impressed by the health insurance offerings for remote employees living outside of IL. I see the company making efforts to explore new options each year, which is important!
