Pros

Generally friendly coworkers, salary was good.

Cons

New Keysight leadership pushed out a number of senior experts, some with decades of employment - requiring replacement by college graduates alone. For years they've used foreign employees overseas to save on corporate costs, many times I found only a single person covering entire topics like software library development with very little oversight on quality. If "Made In America" is a priority, be prepared to change. Many employees cheat the system by mis-declaring expenses like personal vehicle miles and duplicate meal charges (multiple corporate card approvals for the same meal and people scales the required daily expense maximum down to appear as if it's within corporate guidelines). I met an employee who declared boldly that they would never abide by corporate expense policy, not one penny would come out of their personal income even if they had to fabricate receipts in order to pass an audit. I was often considered foolish for not participating in intentional misrepresentation of my expenses, like the idiot on the block. It's unfortunate that people put a good paying job at risk for stealing peanuts on their expense reports - if honesty is a priority, be prepared to take some grief for it. High deductible (many thousands) medical insurance. The choice isn't bad for people who have very few health concerns (ie: young employees), but not likely easy for those in their upper age groups. IT support apparatus was horrible, it was challenging to get my machines fixed when problems occurred - constantly getting overseas resources pointing fingers at other. Has to be one of the worst IT Support solutions I've ever experienced, and it did make the job more frustrating than it had to be.

Pros

Good people and good environment. Almost no over time. Have more time to take care of family.

Cons

Most R&D managers are people managers and know nothing about new technologies and industry trend. Some of them even don't work and just spend most time on chat and stocking.
