Pros

People within your team can be great, as you’re all ‘in it together’. Since regularly pitted against each other by management, you bond quickly to survive.

Cons

It’s essentially online door-to-door sales and stalking of anybody who works with the company they have set their eyes on...for you You’ll be given unrealistic targets and expected to hound any and everybody who’s associated with them. What’s worst, management caves to pressure from above far too often, so is only concerned about the bottom line. While the ‘Kforce’ family is promoted incessantly, it all goes out the window as soon as you aren’t producing. There’s a lack of instruction and over reliance on canned, pre-packaged training. Management meets for regular gossip sessions and their are daily meetings to call out employees in front of each other & for you to recap and receive criticism for every detail of your previous day. It’s belittling at best, even for those that are selling regularly. Unless you’re coming right out of college and have few prospects in your given field, stay away. This is burnout defined.

Pros

Definitely leaving this "Pros" one blank.

Cons

I have worked for three recruiting agencies and Kforce is HORRIBLE. RUN for the HILLS. THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER AGENCIES WITH BETTER COMPENSATION STRUCTURES AND TEAM-FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENTS!!! This company is extremely corporate and very inpersonable. You are just another number on the board. Literally, they only care about dials and don't even care about legitimate conversations that have potential to produce future business. Their software system is extremely outdated, unorganized and ineffective (and a time suck.) They can call you a recruiter in "finance and accounting" but fill $13/hour roles for a receptionist position (clearly not the image that the company employee needs to portray.) They do not stick to their values. Managers are aloof, disengaged and DON'T EVEN PRODUCE. To anyone who is entertaining working here, DON'T. There are so many other talent agencies out there who actually care about their teams and development from within. With my personal experience, look at ANY OTHER AGENCY. This one is the worst of them all. Sorry Kforce, you have become another RobertHalf. The company has the MOST turnover I have ever seen in a looooong time within recruiting.

Pros

Good company to have on your resume when you're ready to get into the staffing industry. Just be prepared to talk more about politics than business and you'll be set.

Cons

This place needs it own reality show. The managers in this office are only in their positions because they were the only ones left standing when the top-notch employees got fed-up and left. The managers have not been given any tools or management training and it really shows. The blind leading the blind - you have to become a shark or a snake to get ahead here. Honestly is not the best policy in this type of environment. Leaders have no idea what is going on at your desk because they're too busy on a conference call to make time for their people. Metrics, expectations, etc. change depending on which leader you talk to. Make sure you track every communication with your managers so when they come to confront you about gossip, you have proof that you've done your due diligence. The average tenure in this office is 1.5 years and that's generous. Leaders use gossip relayed to them by other employees to push others out. They've lost or fired 12+ employees just this summer and the majority of those people who were let-go were the ones who called HR and complained about management harassment in the office at some point. Also, everyone let go recently had confided in a friend and/or were thrown under the bus by a team member. It doesn't matter how long you've been here or what you've done here, the managers allow themselves to be manipulated by other team members because they just don't know any better or how to properly handle their staff.
