Pros

Most locations have a very nice office space and nice amenities, such as an employee kitchen, multiple small conference rooms, a shared community meeting/presentation space, and a building cafeteria. My coworkers and managers were mostly very friendly and welcoming. They do a lot of fun team-building/celebratory activities and try to boost morale where they can. Because Kforce is one of the top national staffing firms, that gives both Recruiters and Sales Reps an advantage when meeting with new potential clients/candidates, as we have name recognition, and this helps us build our books of business quicker than a small, relatively "unknown" staffing firm. Kforce is very transparent with commissions, billable hours, metrics, etc - you always know where you're at and you never have to wonder or guess how much commission you'll be making or where numbers came from. They provide a lot of templates, trainings, etc, so you can be confident in how to do your job and everyone does things in a consistent manner. I think Kforce is a great company to work for if you're a recent college grad looking to start your career, OR someone who is experienced and successful in sales and can handle high pressure and strict metrics. You can make a lot of money here if you can handle the job and perform well.

Cons

Kforce is essentially a sales company at its core, so they are VERY strict on KPIs. They put SO much focus on KPIs that it causes employees to spend their time and focus on meaningless work just to hit their numbers. All of this can at times create a stressful, negative and toxic work environment. I personally often felt like I was not good at my job because I was not hitting numbers, or not hitting the right numbers; many people on my team felt the same way often. Also, many of our clients complained about how often the Sales Reps were showing up at their office, calling them, etc (again due to KPI requirements). Clients would explicitly give us rules/guidelines/expectations, and the management at Kforce would tell you to ignore it, which caused several clients to fire us. This is NOT good customer service whatsoever. I personally know several people who were clients of Kforce, but no longer use them, and still years later have a negative impression of the company due to being too pushy and not listening to client feedback. Kforce headquarters are in Tampa, FL, so growth opportunities in STL from a role standpoint is limited (money-wise, you can make a ton on commission). The only positions available locally are Recruiting, Sales and some HR functions, and then management roles within each of those areas.
