Working at Kiddie Academy Naperville was my first full-time job. I didn’t know much about childcare as I had only taken a few classes, but I got a lot of on the job training which was nice. The turnover was so high at Kiddie Academy Naperville. I was there for six months and in that time we had 11 employees come and go. Management did not do a very good job keeping the kids safe. I remember having a student who had a 101 fever and I had told management twice about this child’s fever and they told me they weren’t going to call the child’s mom because they knew she wouldn’t come get him. Another time, I was in the toddler classroom when one of the toddlers had fell and hit their head and began bleeding profusely. We had called for management three times and even told them it was urgent and nobody came. I left the classroom to go get someone and all three of the members of management were in the front office eating popcorn. Kiddie Academy Naperville super unprofessional and I hope it is run by better management now.
