Cons

Management is disconnected from the experience of teaching children and places unrealistic expectations on teachers. Rooms are packed full. Young, untrained teachers are expected to work without support with students who need further, professional assistance for special needs. Teachers are discouraged from calling out sick even when they are contagious. Management changes frequently. Upward mobility is dangled but not possible without a degree, and education opportunities are not provided beyond what is legally required.
