Working with children and forming relationships with families, watching the kids grow, weekends off, discounted childcare if you have kids

Cons

Unpredictable hours meaning you may sometimes be forced to stay past your scheduled time, lack of materials for students, staff can be unsupportive, no healthcare

Pros

The teachers and staff that put everything they had into being the best for the children they could be. Ablity to obtain years experience needed to get a job at a center that I was more in line with with.

Cons

The expectation on management to care more about the revinue of the owner than what is best for the employees and children. I was very excited when I researched the philosophy of the company, but that led to a huge disappointment when I realized it was all just words and marketing strategies to lure parents in. Lastly the lack of knowledge and follow through on what it meant to be nationally accreditdated. It was just another medal or marketing strategy, not really followed.
