Pros

Good environment to build experience working with kids in a physical education field. Other coaches are typically easy to get along with

Cons

No chance for upwards movement. Raises are sporadic at best New management at my location was poorly picked, and the GM didn’t listen to anyone’s complaints. She is not fit for management. They wont care if they run 5 other employees out due to poor toxic/abusive environments

Pros

- Seemed like a lot of positive and driven individuals at first

Cons

- Most unprofessional hiring/onboarding experience I've ever had in my life interviewed and accepted an offer for a management position at KidStrong. After putting in my two weeks notice with my then current full time employer, a day before my start date, KidStrong rescinded their offer— leaving me jobless. Within those two weeks, we had been in touch over Zoom, text, and phone calls where I reconfirmed my start date and spoke with the management about our mutual excitement for said start date. Despite having been in direct contact with them through text and zoom several times during the two weeks leading up to my initial start date, the day before my start date, the two hiring managers reached out, unprecedentedly three way facetimed me, condescendingly accused me of not communicating enough, and claimed that I didn't display enough excitement because I didn’t immediately accept their slack invitation or finish my onboarding. This opportunity initially seemed like a great place to grow and develop as a manager, however slowly (unfortunately too slowly because now I'm out of a job on both ends) descended into a weird and toxic situation before I ever got a chance to even clock into the facility. I normally don't leave reviews, but this was such a pitiful and disgusting display that I had to share. If you're thinking about transitioning jobs, please steer clear from the place, because they might lead you to believe you could leave your previous job only to unprofessionally rescind their offer before you start your new one.
