      Pros

      Kin has a great collaborative and supportive culture for software engineers! I’ve been with Kin for about 2 years and have only seen things improve. Strong company performance is always a bonus too!

      Cons

      No cons for me as of now. I enjoy working at Kin and don’t have the desire to leave.

      The company being named after “family” should’ve been my first red flag

      Pros

      Good work/life balance, unlimited pto, and healthcare,

      Cons

      Upper management did not know how to clearly communicate. Teams were reorganized every 3-6 months with management switching hands just as often. They’re more focused on the minor mistakes teams makes rather that the many accomplishments. Company culture is also toxic and they use horrible puns around with their company name.

      I loved how Kin was open and non-restrictive with PTO.

      Cons

      A lot of changes are happening at Kin. The company seems to struggle with keeping everyone informed on big decisions that have life changing effects on their employees.
