      Always changing, not much room for advancement, always hiring managers externally

      Change can be both exciting and challenging at the same time, as you say. Finding the right talent is one of those challenges and we always consider internal candidates first. With change comes new requirements however so sometimes we need to look outside our own substantial talent pool. Your feedback is noted though, we appreciate it.

      Pros

      HR does their best to hire people who work well with others. Pay is slightly better than average in the Ottawa area. Top management tries to make it a fun place to work.

      Cons

      Stiff management hierarchy means if you have a bad manager, you are probably screwed. A lot of technical debt and undocumented code/processes means new hired will run into a lot of obstacles.
