Pros
I have been with the company for 7.5 years and seen it change dramatically. From siloed waterfall model into vibrant scrum flow and tons of innovation coming from people on multiple levels. Management approach also changed a lot: I know today people feel much appreciated and cared for. I enjoy every day of working here, across multiple aspects: I feel free to being open with my reports and my manager, coming up with new ideas and acting on them; creating better conditions for my reports and coaching them to realize their own ideas and plans. Of course, a big part of what we do is being customer-centric on multiple fronts, be it Kinaxis customers or people from the other departments within Kinaxis. Our amazing HR team supports managers and contributors in everything we need and assists quickly should any complication arise. They played (and keep playing) a huge role in the current culture of openness and self-empowerment. I feel really great going to work every day!
Cons
Probably one of the few things that can be viewed as a challenge at Kinaxis is the constant pace of change, that have been accelerating in the last years. At times it does feel quite chaotic to some people, and it does require certain level of adjustment to be comfortable with constant change.
