Great start to ABA, not sustainable long term

The environment at KBH is very supportive and you will grow as a practitioner.

Cons

However KBH does not pay competively, offer adequate access to time off, especially sick time and mental health days. Performance reviews are based on attendance and conversion rates, not your data. If you get sick you will not get promoted. Also if you give this company notice of your resignation they will take your clients away immediately and take you out of their full-time program. The clinic culture is amazing, but higher ups do not treat you well.

- The clients are great! -My coworkers are amazing (for the most part) -PTO accrues quickly -Full time program offers a lot of benefits -Opportunities for professional development -Awesome student program

Cons

- Client families need to move to a Team only communication so that staff phone numbers are not shared. - Staff should held responsible if they make a work place feel hostile. - We need more sick time. 20 hours for the whole year isn't enough for someone who works 10 hours per day. - Full time program and guaranteed hours should be increased to 40 hours per week, -When taking on a professional development role, a pay increase, PTO incentive, bonus, etc., should also be given. These employees display above and beyond experience and expertise and should be compensated for in. Overall, the company has lost A LOT of good employees due to low pay wages. The top hourly wage for RBTs is the low end of the industry standard. Sick time is not enough especially when working with children who are prone to getting sick.
