Pros

- BCBA caseloads are very small (usually no more than 6-8) - Company standard is 20% case supervision across clients, which includes time spent in RBT sessions, family training, and any indirect work completed - Fantastic Student/Apprenticeship program for those pursuing their BCBA credential. It gives current BCBAs access to more highly trained RBTs and gives BCBAs mentor and student supervision experience - Company strives to set higher standards for the field in general - Has open door policy across all clinicians, which is super helpful. You actually get to know the Operations and Leadership teams - Great teamwork and collaboration across clinic locations. You will often collaborate with staff and BCBAs from other offices through resource sharing, brainstorming, projects, etc. - Conducts formal performance reviews every 6mo with actionable items to achieve promotions/raises. These reviews are comprised of feedback from everyone you work with, not just your direct supervisor, regardless of your position - Outstanding culture of diversity, anti-ableism, knowing better then doing better, support and teamwork, valuing giving and receiving feedback, emphasis on work/life balance (encourages and celebrates people using PTO, ending your day early if your schedule can accommodate it, come in later the next day if you worked late the night before, etc.) - Ongoing trainings and CE events for both BCBAs and RBTs - Monthly bi-directional feedback meetings between RBTs and BCBAs (both partied provide feedback to one another on the month's performance) - Ethics are at the forefront of everything they do - Company truly values the employees as much as the clients and does an awesome job balancing these two

Cons

- Lower salary than competitors, but fair compensation. I think all of the support and resources staff are offered (e.g., small caseloads, great training and oversight, etc.) significantly helps to offset this - Have to use personal phone and computer. RBTs are provided devices to collect data during their sessions, but BCBAs aren't provided technology. - Raises and promotions are directly tied to the 6mo reviews. On a few occasions, I've been given corrective feedback in my reviews that holds me back from a level change, but this was feedback wasn't given throughout the 6mo, so there wasn't an option to change until it was too late and it already affected my review

Pros

This has been a great place to work. I started as an RBT while I was in school. I went through the student program and the apprentice program before becoming certified as a BCBA. They provide continuing education credits both in-house and have also provided for them through other organizations. Management is very friendly and is always looking for feedback. They actually do stuff with the feedback too. This company is really trying to make an impact on this field for BCBAs and clients.

Cons

Mosts client's are in the evening due to the population we work with.
