Pros

The staff is really great, licensed nurse and RNs are very hands on. Excellent customer service.

Cons

Low rate, and very overwhelming work load at times when you are short staff. Nurses are the phlebotomist, wound care, case managers, CNA's

Pros

There are multiple locations nationwide, so opportunity to relocate if necessary. At the local/District level, the comraderie is great.

Cons

Very weak benefits package; no 401k match AND employees are limited to contributing only 4% of income!!!! This is a HUGE disadvantage. Terrible operations infrastructure; none of the centralized 'support services' provide acceptable performance. Very short-sighted decisions are made to cut expenses without any understanding or concern about how difficult it makes it for the hospitals to function. The disconnect between Division/Corporoate leadership and the facilities who actually run operations and generate revenue is remarkable; therefore, disastrous decisions are made without reasonable understanding of the impact on the actual functioning of the hospitals.

Pros

Interesting and challenging population to work with.

Cons

Upper and middle management have no respect fo the therapists. There is no transparency, everything is a secret until it trickles down to affect you. Management manages by the numbers on reports to meet their KPI and receive their bonuses, there is no consideration for the patient or therapist. New hires are poorly trained and poorly prepared for the complexity of the patients treated in these hospitals. Lying from Program Directors is tolerated when they are friends with upper management. Health benefits are disgustingly inadequate an expensive. Nursing is overworked and unable to manage their patients safely and effectively. Would never refer anyone to work here or allow anyone I know to be taken as a patient here.
