Pros

Lots of overtime, it was a family with the nurses and techs

Cons

Absolute worst administration to work for. Too much micromanaging, zero clue about what’s going, no leadership presence. The director is inexperienced and immature and talks bad about other staff/supervisors to you, and does the same with the other staff/supervisors. She doesn’t realize everyone is much closer to one another and that no one trusts her. She doesn’t do anything and is just cruising this job until she finishes NP school. The CCO is not any better. Does not communicate and thinks she knows how to run the hospital from her office. This has to be the worst administration/dictators I’ve ever worked for. They also protect one of the worst human beings I’ve been who is a day supervisor. Multiple complaints from staff, calls to corporate and they allow how and his wife to run the hospital (aka the golden children). This administration does not care about staff input or buy-in. Even the physicians are complaining badly about them. They will continue to have turnover because of who runs the place. The poor staff are left with no support. Do not bring your loved ones here because they only care about the money and meeting metrics, not about the patient or their family, or the staff for that matter. Yes, they pay the most in the area, and there’s a reason for that. You will hate your life every moment that you’re here. No culture of safety, no autonomy, and fudges data and info to ensure they look good on paper.
