Pros

King County provides employees with Orca cards at no cost to employee. Makes commuting very easy depending on the area in which you live. Most clinics are on a transportation line or have parking lots. Benefits are great. Great entry level job.

Cons

Most employees have been in the same position for a long time, which can make it difficult to move up quickly. Some clinics do not offer parking. Some management and teams aren't that great. Some clinics are hard to grow in career wise.

Great, until someone needs a scapegoat.

Pros

The benefit package and the high salaries/wages

Cons

If you are in an exempt position not represented by a union - brace yourself. When someone needs a public scapegoat, and they will, if you are in the wrong position at the wrong time, it could be you pilloried, no mater how stellar your work product or how reliable you are.
