Pay is high compared to similar roles in neighboring municipalities and counties. Great range of benefit options including medical, dental, vision, and transportation.

Cons

No accountability, difficult to initiate change. Many programs offered are hindered by department heads. Unsupportive management. Toxicity in many departments.

Pros

Benefits; hours; that's about it.

Cons

No training. Whisper campaigns. Managers asking employees about other employees and getting information via third person. Sharing that third party misinformation with superiors to taint your reputation so that they can look good for their superiors. Everyone scared for their jobs. Terrible atmosphere. "Watch out" is the most common phrase.
