Pros

Good people A Pension Decent Salary Good health benefits Stability if you can handle the slow pace on accomplishing

Cons

KCIT is in a state of flux. Lack of resources to support current projects. No projects created for some major initiatives Staff seems to be in fire fighting mode all of the time. We are too busy doing operations no time to plan or discuss what we actually need to accomplish Bad Morale! Work/Pay/Bonus is not based on Performance Always finding the cheapest way of doing things, which may not be the best.

Pros

Hours were flexible and I really enjoyed the work. It was challenging but you didn't have to take it home with you.

Cons

Leadership in the building and by my direct supervisor was horrible. Schedules were mis managed. People that were not capable of the doing the job were left in positions for years and were never held accountable for their incompetence. Hours were given to favorites rather than to the people that were the most efficient and professional.
