Good pay, easy job, not worth it unless you suck up to management
Pros
The pay is decent. Easy job. Some co-workers are amazing when you get to know them. Easy to move up if you can suck up to management.
Cons
You have no life if you work any evening to night shift. Management has different reasons to not approve days off. Management is never on the same page. Management does not care if need to leave on time for work if they have overtime, very inconvenient for those that have children. Once you reach VIP banking you'll be stuck on those games forever. Ever since the new pay structure, it is not fair for those that have been with the company for years. I had a lot of coworkers that are great associates, they bank VIP games and all, and associates that may have been with the company for 6 months can potentially make more money than someone that has been with the company for years just because the new structure gives them that advantage. Or you can have someone that can bank 7 games plus VIP/ Promo games, that started with the company 2 years ago or more; and now get paid the same exact amount as someone that just started pushing Paigow because of the new pay structure. As a veteran banker you would be very upset because you have worked hard for the last 2 years to reach that amount of hourly pay to see someone that is fairly new get the same amount of hourly income as you. Yes, there is a "team contribution" part of pay raises but they don't happen as often as management seems to say they do. In addition, some of the management team does not know what they are doing. From experience, I know the management team does not communicate at all with each other. Management are afraid of those associates that have a backbone or that questions their management abilities; eventually they will use it against you when you try to move up in the company.
