Pros
Kohl's is a great place to work because they truly put the customer first which in turn helps the employee understand how to handle the many customer service issues thrown our way. It is always a "Yes we can!" attitude and I really like that. Also, it is a fun way for me to practice my merchandising skills.
Cons
I hate to complain about the wages, but even after being their for about 5 years and being full time I am not really making a livable wage. It is a shame, because I really do enjoy working for Kohl's but it is hard not to keep your options open to new opportunities. Kohl's of course is a retail store, and with retail comes the mundane tasks of cleaning fitting rooms and dealing with not so pleasant customers, this is a given at any store.
