      Given a lot of responsibility and ability to make a difference. Great team atmosphere. Lots of opportunity to advance your career.

      There are other companies that are willing to pay you more for the same amount of work that your put in.

      The discounts, associate shop days + your associate discount.

      Cons

      The super low pay rate, the pesky customers who "forgot" their coupons, depending on the store...the managers, the ridiculous hour that they open and close (who is going to buy a candle at 11pm at night?).

      Pros

      Nice atmosphere. Nice management & co workers. Very good return policy. "Okay" employee discount. I don't have to cover my tattoo. Great sales. PT employees get benefits.

      Cons

      Kohl's charge this, kohl's charge that! Kohl's is ALL about making a dollar..They dont give you hours unless you get a lot of "C's" (kohl's charge card apps) They make you work LONG hours & give you breaks when they want you to have them, IF you ever get them. I had my lunch break 40 mins before i was due to get off & when i got back i was told i wasn't supposed to take it without being "relieved".. after working a LONG shift, starving, with an unauthorized break, they STILL asked me to stay late. Did i mention the pay was lousy? Minimum wage. Honestly i don't think they pay me enough for my aggravation & agony. They expect WAY too much work for WAY too little money.
