      Pros

      It is a job. I pretty much like the people I work with.

      Cons

      Pushing credit cards. Lack of respect, interaction, help, from management. Not enough hours for our store so we are often short handed.

      Pros

      If you like working hard, and you enjoy a decent work environment compared to other retail stores. Other associates despite how much is expected from them are friendly and willing to help each other.

      Cons

      Pay is not great and below similar jobs elsewhere. They expext a lot of work and your responsibilities change from day to day. Many times there is to much work and customers for the amount of workers corprate allows the store to have, meaning everyone has to kill themselves trying to keep everything running and the customers happy.

      Softlines part time job at Kohl's

      Pros

      If working part time, it can be easy to switch the days you work as you're allowed to switch with employees and if you can't find anyone to switch management usually gives you a break. If you work eight hours you get two 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute (unpaid) lunch.

      Cons

      There are not enough employees so each employee ends up doing multiple jobs all of the time. Because of how the store works, particulary in the fitting rooms (there are not employess working the fitting rooms all the time) there is always a mess that can take literally forever to clean it up. If you have ideas about how to make things better management doesn't really care or seem to take anything you say into consideration.
