Pros

As a company, you have access to good opportunities within the company, and benefits are really good. Its easy to get recognition locally (doesnt mean you will get anything other than a pat on your back). Very lean company so exposed to a lot of responsibility!

Cons

Depends on your manager. Salaries are 50th percentile of market, and location sucks. They Hire locally, they don’t necessarily spend on talent acquisition, so not many bright engineers around. Educational reimbursement is only 5k.

Kohler believes in their employees and works hard to help them to achieve their goals. They allow employees to transfer between departments.

Cons

Sometimes one department doesn't like to let an employee transfer to another department because there aren't enough good employees.

Pros

Lots of resources (i.e. $$$) = top notch office equipment. David Kohler may be the company's savior.

Cons

Worst culture of any place I've worked. Managers are afraid to make mistakes so throwing staff under the bus is commonplace. Yelling and disrespectful treatment at the highest levels trickles down. Good luck keeping anybody under the age of 45. Younger employees won't stand for it.
