      Pros

      Plenty of opportunity for professional growth and new professional experience. There are no bounds to mobility within the business. Established company with great loyalty to employees. The downturn in 2008 resulted in many layoffs, but the Kohler Family kept more than they had to. Outstanding benefits.

      Cons

      Pay is about 10-15% below a comparable position in Milwaukee, but within the pay range for the greater Sheboygan area. Long-term employment often leads to the inability to see any way other than the "Kohler Way". Sometimes people are promoted beyond their level of competence and not properly mentored in their position.

      Pros

      Great Brand to market and sell. Good company culture and attitude. Strong executive management. Strong future outlook. Leader in their industry.

      Cons

      Arrogance which can sometimes could judgement on making important business decisions. Protecting the brand is extremely important but not to the point of where you are saying you are too good to do business unless inflexible conditions are met.
