Pros

Lots of perks, free snacks, team events, Friday lunches, RRSP matching, beautiful offices. Great projects with Fortune 500 companies and the most talented team I have ever worked with.

Cons

Fast paced and you need to be able to keep up.

Pros

The company has a great set of people to work for/with and a nice variety of projects to work on and allow personal/professional development into most technology stacks you might be interested in. The office is in a great neighbourhood for both living and working in Toronto, lots of great lunch places and a short distance to walk if you live downtown. The vacation time is quite generous, and allows for some good downtime between bigger projects.

Cons

Training when beginning the company is short, and the management style is unconventional. It can take a little while to get used to the flat company structure but comes in handy when you need something done quickly.

Pros

I really enjoyed my time at Konrad. It’s a strong company with a lot of momentum, especially on the data side. The data team was newly established while I was there and growing quickly, which created real opportunities to learn and take ownership. The people were consistently excellent, and the work–life balance was genuinely good, not just in theory. My manager, Ryan, was a pleasure to work with: supportive, open, and respectful, with no micromanagement. Based on my experience, that management quality felt cultural rather than exceptional. Konrad also puts real effort into community, with frequent events and team dinners that made the environment engaging rather than transactional. Overall, it’s an honest, well-run place to work, and I’m glad I spent that time there.

Cons

Just the three days mandatory work from office. Would have been great if it was two days instead.
