• This place has a union! • Lovely Customers • Straightforward Workflow
Cons
• Employees are hired and trained for ONE SPECIFIC DEPARTMENT and paid as such. However, management uses company moral to pressure us into working in different departments even if we aren't trained to do so. I understand this "saves on labor costs" but if your store has insufficient amount of people to work in a department, HIRE MORE PEOPLE. I have had managers pressuring me to train in multiple areas without compensation, they have threatened to cut my hours or send me home if I opted to stay in my department. Even though I love where I work, I will absolutely not work for two people.
