Pros

The job itself was straightforward and easy to perform. The pay was reasonable for a minimum wage position, and most of my coworkers were pleasant to work with. My manager was wonderful, and I would gladly work with her again if I had the ability.

Cons

The location presented several challenges. The front end often experienced drama and operational issues, and some staff members were not friendly, which created difficulties. The area where I worked also had occasional safety concerns due to violent individuals in the vicinity.

Pros

Decent benefits including health, dental, and vision if you stay long enough. Coworkers and customers generally friendly. Paid vacation week after a year. Pension plan. Weekly or even daily pay if you choose. Union employee if you are hourly.

Cons

Low top out wage around $20/hr which can take years. Weekends, holidays, and evening work generally, no 401k match, terrible training program, no set days off and no guaranteed hours each week. $10/week union dues. Low morale throughout the store. Opportunity for advancement but it take time and you have to give up a work/life balance completely.
