Pros

I have worked for L&R for 11+ years. It's a great company to work for. Everyone is approachable right up to the CEO and the owner. People are happy to help you with things you don't understand. At L&R, mistakes are seen as opportunities to learn. The benefits package is good and the company growth means job security.

Cons

I work in the field and find that sometimes communication is a little slow -regarding changes in policies, etc. While I feel my pay rate is fair, pay raises are small with long intervals in between. I feel it's the only drawback to working here.

L&R Distributors Response
7y
It's difficult to provide a response without knowing which department for which you work. The past year has been a year of change, we relocated our Long Island and Brooklyn Warehouses into one brand new location in New Jersey, we also relocated both offices into one new location at Industry City. These changes are bound to have impact on every department and make things feel a bit chaotic for all associates. Regarding the Policies and Procedures, the Human Resources Department has published an Employee Handbook which all employees must review upon hire. It's also available through our HRIS System, BambooHR. The HR Team is always available to answer questions and help employees find clarity. Regarding Department Specific Procedures, our Field Operations Team heavily uses our Intranet along with some YouTube videos for training. Each Office Department has their own method of maintaining SOPs. As you indicated that you are a current employee, you are invited to meet with your Manager, or the Human Resources Department to provide specific feedback so we have an opportunity to help you find clarity and more satisfaction in your role.
