Many of our employees tell us how great their coworkers are and we're happy to hear that you feel the same! Internal movement is encouraged, and we suggest you to speak with your manager or HR Business Partner about available internal career opportunities. Thanks for leaving a review!

Pros

Many groups have wonderful peers that become like friends and family.

Cons

Hostile culture that grows the further outside of your group you look. Increasing, unmanageable work load along with increasing, unrealistic expectations. True value is not appreciated.

Pros

The work pays very well, great benefits/unlimited time off, there is a clear pathway for advancement, and (I've heard) they haven't had a layoff in decades since they have enough projects to shuffle people away from faulty ones. They also have a nice on-site cafeteria with a weekly menu posted online. This is the kind of place where you can safely put your head down and start a family.

Cons

This place sort of expects you to put your head down and start a family. Lots of the benefits don't kick into full gear until five years in, and the base is located in the middle of nowhere, Greenville. So unless you don't mind spending an average of half your day away from home, you'd best get yourself a little house in Greenville. Again, fine if you want that family life, but not for everyone. Now, this next part is based purely on my personal experience, so I won't go too much into detail. All of this organization is great as long as you keep your head down, but stir anything up and they will cut you out in a second. HR is not there to help you, they are there to minimize damage to a company that works with weapons and the government (very high stakes stuff). If anything happens, their standard procedure is to have you escorted to your car by security (you are not allowed to pick up anything from your office), the first time it happened, I casually asked the guard if this happens often, and he told me I was the third today. It was 10am. While you work there, keep records of everything, stay on top of who gives you what instructions, and be clear immediately if there are any conflicts in what you are told to do.

We appreciate the time you took to leave a review. We're glad you are happy with our benefits, such as our discretionary PTO, competitive pay, and on-site amenities. Regarding your personal experience, this situation is not typical, and not something we like to hear.
