Very long work hours (sometimes weekends) especially if you are in more complicated commodities like metal or cable assemblies. Cross functional work/communication with the other divisions was non-existent and sadly depending on the issue usually one segment of the supply chain had to deal with the negative outcomes/problems even though the root cause of the issues started from the engineering/material planning phases and got bigger as they progressed through out the supply chain process.

I felt that they did not want to spend a dime on employee technical development, but made you take all kinds of training to protect their company. If you didn’t have the background to do a given task, they would give the task to some one else. No chance to gain new skills at this company .
