Pros

If you're looking for an organization that truly cares about its community and the people it serves, LA Family Housing is the place to turn to. From the moment I began working with them, I could tell that their passion for creating sustainable, affordable housing solutions for individuals and families experiencing homelessness was truly unmatched. One thing that really stood out to me was their collaborative approach to problem-solving. They work closely with their partners, donors, and other community members to ensure that their initiatives are tailored to meet the specific needs of the people they serve. And they don't just stop at providing housing - they also offer a range of support services to help people get back on their feet and thrive. What's more, LA Family Housing has a proven track record of success. They've been serving the Los Angeles community for nearly 40 years, and in that time, they've provided homes and services to thousands of individuals and families. Their commitment to providing a hand up rather than a handout is truly inspiring, and I love that their work culture is rooted in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. As a staff member some of the benefits you can look forward to are their flexible work schedules, which includes every other Friday off for eligible positions, their commitment to investing in staff with their professional development fund and countless trainings that are offered, 12 paid holidays off, staff outings and more!

Cons

If you struggle to adapt to change, this might not be the ideal job for you. This agency frequently pivots in response to political initiatives and evolving best practices. Despite the changes, the organization maintains effective communication with its staff and stakeholders to ensure seamless transitions.

Pros

Good team, outer team not so much. Some people were amazing, some can go to hell. Some were like a taste of heaven and some were worse than that one abusive x lol. Love the CEO, the manager I had some friends and people I still talk to that I will always love. Others made me want to live in the woods alone and never speak to humans again. Either way the mission is great but some people don't belong there, while others are def gonna be lifers for the better. Hope it's doing better and I will be back one day but to run the place, can't stand by and watch L.A hurt, the homeless people are still our people. Join get a job here and help aid the cause, or get rich and change systems that you don't like. A lot of people here lie, feminist here are crazy for sure but I'm sure they are like that in most places and with multiple organizations speaking against that crazy ideology hopefully it will change soon. Anyway, loved it when I did and still do but also had multiple sessions for my mental health after. Good luck with whatever you do.

Cons
