Pros

Easy job, low stress environment most of the time.

Cons

Little to no possibility for advancement, you have to keep a record of your weekly hours. They like to hire as full-time but officially document employees as part-time so they can skimp on benefits and personal time off.

Pros

Flexible schedule Plenty of opportunities for advancement

Cons

Unorganized upper management Upper management provides minimal job training and support Ambiguous expectations and deadlines for reports No tangible list of job duties or even a basic task list to follow Essentially, you're left to figure out what you're supposed to do and when you're supposed to do it Scrutinized when you haven't met ambiguous expectations Poor line of communication from upper management

Pros

The CEO, Alan is a gem of a human being - kind hearted and yet still savvy enough to run this business. CFO is funny but no nonsense. Regional Vice Presidents are typically easy to work with, and regional accounting contacts are also. This company has a great story, great values, and they have a Chief Culture Officer! You really feel like you matter when you work for this company.

Cons

Accounting management does not embody the LAZ culture in the same way that regional management does. The accounting is typically boring, cash basis, nothing that will add much to your resume (but still worth sticking it out)
