Pros

There are no pros, this company bought us put a year ago and took all of our benefits away. They have been hiring people who are inconsistent and quit easily and that leaves all the work for the loyal employees that have been there for a while.

Cons

No paid holidays, an awful PTO system which is like signing your life to them, the COVID policy is a nightmare and they wouldn’t close when 80% of our kids had COVID. They have been the worst company I’ve ever worked for.

Good mission, not for everyone

Pros

You're paired with a knowledgeable BCBA and get to work with cute kids. The BCBAs will try to work with and support you as much as possible. Your schedule is aligned with whatever availability you can take on. Communication between you and BCBAs or management is open for personal changes and work progress but depends on you.

Cons

The job is not for everyone, if you don't have the empathy or patience to work with children, especially ones with ASD, then this job is not for you. BCBAs will support you as much as they can but will not always be there for you to lean on, especially if you don't have proper training or some innate ability to be able to work with the kids - there is only so much they can do and will let you off the case if you can't handle the workload. The training is a two week zoom course that you listen to lectures and write down notes - not very hands on until you work with the clients.
