      Overtime is always a good thing

      Low pay hard to get raises. Need to care more about employees. Often times they seem like their trying to make more money and pay us even less

      I've worked at LKQ for 6 1/2 years and I love it. I ran my own yard for 26 years and due to health reasons I closed it up in 2009 and went to work for LKQ. No matter what you hear about LKQ being to big, to corporate, blah, blah, blah, they take very good care of their employees. Excellent benefits and I was off on medical for a while and the management was behind me 110%. The loyalty that they expressed, well you just don't find it like this in the work place anymore. I can't express my appreciation enough to this fine company.

      Pros

      Fair Pay and decent Benefits. Management left us alone and let us do our jobs. Overall enjoyed my time with LKQ

      Cons

      I'm not a big corporation fan so the only cons I have are the basic "Corporate America" rules and regulations that they enforce.
