Thanks for taking the time to post a review. Hopefully the rollout of the LMI 2020 Strategic Plan and the multiple events and communications associated with that has helped with understanding of the vision and direction of the company, which simply put means holding true to our mission and capitalizing on seven consecutive years of growth. Leadership agrees with you on the career pathing point. The Policy Fellow, Coop, Pathways and Performance Counseling programs are not enough. A wide swath of consultants, managers and leaders have worked with HR to develop a comprehensive Career Pathing Program. It pilots the next two quarters, with full implementation the goal this fiscal year.

Pros

The environment is friendly and family like. The people who work there are very smart. Great for entry level people as well as those retiring from the military or government.

Cons

Salaries are a little lower, but the benefits outweigh that.

Thanks for your review. Commenting here because it seems less than sporting to only respond with context for negatively charged feedback. LMI has competitive pressure and must respond to market forces, but as a mission-oriented not-for-profit consultancy, does not have quarterly targets to hit for earnings report purposes etc. Thirty-seven percent of LMI's workforce are military veterans, and 57% have served in government, but nobody wears their former rank or position on their sleeve, and virtually all are on a first name basis and equally approachable.

Lots of change

Pros

Work with a very driven team that helps solve difficult problems for our customers. Although our benefits have changed recently, they are still very good.

Cons

LMI has moved to a cubicle workspace and offices are glass walled, this does not provide any privacy. Communication in change can use improvement.
