Mgmt doesn't care about it's employees only it's bottom line. They'll lie to your face to keep you hanging on.

Pros

LMI generally makes their people feel valued and demonstrates that they care about the "whole person." For FY19 and FY20, bonuses were very generous and employees reaped the reward of the company's success. Senior management have true open door policy and the organization is very flat. Sr. management are both talented and highly ethical people.

Cons

The company has had multiple changes in senior leadership in the past five years and transitioned from a non-profit to a for profit entity in 2020. The company used to have an amazing work-life balance compared to other federal consulting firms, but with these recent organizational changes the culture is shifting. Long hours and more time on proposals (in addition to client support) is getting emphasized. I worry that what used to make LMI special and distinct from competitors (for their employees) is going to slip away. Soon they may be just like everyone else, demanding lots of overtime and burning out their staff.

Zero Support

Pros

Great benefits and salary including an unheard of retirement plan after one year

Cons

No support whatsoever. Management , HR, and Accounting don't respond to emails, phone calls, or any other communication. Basically fend for yourself due to LMI purchasing TORI Group whom have different policies and procedures. They either have zero desire to assist or they do not have the person el in place to handle such an influx of new employees.

If you’re willing to share it, we welcome additional feedback so we can improve our efforts ; contact us at Conversation@LMI.org. Our CHRO has offered to speak with you directly – we can set that up through the same email if you’d like.
