LONG is committed to it's customers and coworkers. The company truly believes in openness, promotes wellness, and provides a number of great benefits and opportunities for its employees. The work environment is friendly and sincere, full of encouragement, support, and resources to learn new skills/advance towards your career goals.

Cons

Not necessarily a "con" but you should have an interest in the industry and a team oriented drive to get the best experience here.

Pros

LONG is by far the best place I have ever worked, and I plan on staying here for life. They treat both their customers and employees better than any company I have ever seen. It makes JCI-Controls and Siemens look like a joke. When they say they will complete a job they do. There is not a change order unless it is completely out of the scope which is hard to find these days when many companies make their margin through change orders.

Cons

The only room for improvement that I can think of is that there are several long time employees that are very stuck in their ways. Because of this many processes have become highly inefficient and thus net margins have gone down. A better avenue for efficiency improvement suggestions would be my only input.

You are allowed to do your job in the best way that you know how. No micro-management. A Prevailing Positive atmosphere with great Co-Workers. Genuinely concerned upper management. Great benefits. Tons of industry experience throughout the company. Forward thinking.

If I can think of something I will put something in this box but I have no complaints.
