Pros

Having been with the company for a short period, I am experiencing my most positive work experience in 25 years. Not only is LONG committed to their external customers, coworkers and employees, they are strongly driven to support their community and encourage their employees to volunteer not just money, but time. The environment of giving and sharing makes working for LONG very fulfilling.

Cons

I would like to see more documented SOPs in order to define and ease work flows.

Pros

A colleague of mine put it best - "LONG makes every individual feel like they make a difference". Even though it's a larger company, there is still a very friendly, collaborative environment that doesn't have that "corporate" feel. No company is perfect, but in the short time I've been here I've seen the management staff recognize some areas of growth and improvement and team up to make some changes.

Cons

Few opportunities for upward growth as there is very little turnover.

Pros

The most generous company I have ever worked for. They treat emoylees better than any company I know. Offer the best customer service in the HVAC business coupled with a high quality product.

Cons

Management gives non sales employees too much freedom which causes issues with poor performing employees. These pepole tend to stay employed longed than they should and others have to make up for their poor work. I.e. showing up at 10, taking 15 smoke breaks, low intelligence.
