Pros

Essential, never laid off, indoors and opportunity to advance. Great people, very well team oriented.

Cons

No AC in the summer but plenty of fans and free bottled water to keep hydrated.

Pros

LSI is a really good place to work for someone that is getting started with a family. Stable job for a dependable hard working employee. Between my wife and myself we were able to buy a house and put 2 children through college. The production line work was challenging sometimes, and we worked weekends a lot, but the extra money was nice. I have been here over 20 years and seen a lot of changes, quite honestly the most recent production floor plant manager has been the best, he has made improvements to the processes and is very understanding when "life happens" I am happy to say that I work here, it is manufacturing and not always fun and games. The facility is hot in the summer but they provide ice and bottled water for us and the work is actually easy. I am writing this because I see all of the people that have written bad stuff about the company and I want everyone to realize that every job is what you make it, if you don't like it, maybe it is not for you.

Cons

So easy that it tends to lack a challenge but there is room to be promoted. (I guess not really a com) The work is a skilled position but the hourly rate feels like an entry level position. I would like to see a higher pay level. (who wouldn't)

Clueless "Leadership"

Pros

They offer benefits like Vision, Dental and Health. Mental Health is affordable (if you make it a year here you need it). Most of the plants make interesting products. Some managers are decent people.

Cons

The CEO requires employees to call into a meeting after work hours (used to be weekly, then monthly and now quarterly). There were layoffs when covid hit, (CEO says there weren't but i personally know 4 people who lost their jobs) We were furloughed for 7 weeks. Lost vacation accruals, and 401K matching for nearly a year. They got rid of the bonus program, didn't tell anyone. It just doesn't exist anymore. Changes are made without considering how employees are affected. As long at the "Share Holders" have a positive outcome they are only considered. "Leadership" hates letting employees work from home. If you ask to be paid what you are worth plan to find another job. They don't want you. There are no women or anyone of color in "Leadership". Working here is an actual toxic relationship.
